• 2001 to 2006: UAE National Representative for OPEC 
• 2006 to 2016: UAE Governor for OPEC 
• 2007 Apr to 2007 Nov: Manager for Planning & Group Coordination in ADNOC
• 2007 Nov to 2008: Assigned as General Manager of the National Gas Shipping Company  Ltd. (NGSCO) 
• 2009 to 2015: Chief Executive Officer of both Abu Dhabi National Tanker Company  (ADNATCO) and National Gas Shipping Company Ltd. (NGSCO) 
• 2016 to 2017: Chief Executive Officer, Ruwais Fertilizer Industries (FERTIL)
